Lost Libraries Walking Tour - now fully booked

Posted Thursday, 22nd September 2016

This special walk for the City Legal Information Group will carry you back through London’s history, to long-forgotten libraries, readers, librarians and collectors. Librarian and antiquarian bookseller Alice Ford-Smith (Bernard Quaritch Ltd) will reveal some of the links between the City’s past and present book collections - and the fascinating tales that lie behind them.

The walk will commence promptly from the courtyard of Stationers' Hall at 6.30pm and finish approximately 90 minutes later near St Paul’s, Mansion House and Blackfriars stations. Please be ready for no breaks and be prepared for whatever the weather may throw!

For those that wish there will also be the option to join us at a nearby pub for refreshments afterwards.
