Research in Offshore Jurisdictions

Have you ever been asked to find an piece of legislation or case from an offshore jurisdiction and struggled to find it, or have had a query from a lawyer wanting information on a company based in Jersey and not known where to look? If so, help is in hand.
Jessica Loud, Knowledge Analyst at offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes will give an introduction to finding legal and company information in the Channel Islands, Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. The session will provide an overview of the government and court structures in these locations, sources for locating legislation, case law and commentary and will look at what types of information you can legally obtain for companies registered in these jurisdictions.
This will be followed by networking drinks.
