HoP to the Houses of Parliament

Posted Thursday, 22nd August 2013

Did you know that there is a snuffbox near the front door of the House of Commons, that Big Ben is really called Elizabeth Tower, or that the lifts have hooks for those carrying swords? All this and much more will be revealed during CLIG's group tour of the Houses of Parliament. A trained guide will lead us through the Palace of Westminster, both Houses, and Westminster Hall, taking in the site’s rich 900-year history from King Canute, through the Reformation, to our current crop of representatives.

There are limited places available, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
